Our Town is an exciting place designed just for kids from Kindergarten to 5th grade. Our goal is that when kids come here, they learn about God's awesome plan for their lives! Whether they are at worship in Praise Park, at snacks in Solid Rock Cafe', or in one of the many stores (classrooms) down Blessings Boulevard, kids are sure to have a blast and they never want to leave!
Sunday Mornings
Sunday mornings in Our Town is an hour each week that your child won’t forget! Classes are offered at 9:30 & 11:00am for students K-5. This enables children to be a part of corporate worship with their families. Students start their hour in Praise Park where they experience Kid's Worship which includes high energy music and movement. During this time, they also hear announcements about upcoming children's events. This is followed by interactive bible study with loving teachers in the local shops of Our Town.
Wednesday Nights
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, we have changed direction from our normal Wednesday night ministry for children K-5. What is usually called OTK which stands for Our Town Kids, is now called ZIG ZAG OTK.
Beginning Feb 3rd, our Kindergarten and 1st graders will be the first group to have a blast as Wednesday nights take a different direction with Zig Zag OTK. The following Wednesday, February 10th is for our 2nd and 3rd grades, and February 17th will be for 4th and 5th grades. All events will be from 5:30pm until 7:30pm.
What will Zig Zag OTK be like?
Kids should be dropped off “car rider style” at the new lobby and given a name badge by a volunteer.
Parents will be given a hang tag to display in their window at pick up as their security tag.
We will start the night off w dinner, followed by games, worship, bible study and small group sessions w their OTK leaders.
Parents should line up at the new lobby drive thru, wrapping around the edge of the parking lot. This will make the dismissal procedure run smoothly. Simply show your Hang tag given at drop off, we will call your child out and put them in the car for you.
What should kiddos bring?
Kids should bring their Bible, pencil or pen, and a face mask (to be worn during transition times and when social distancing isn’t possible).
How long will Wednesday nights look like this?
We will continue to meet on Wednesdays like this until we are able to safely begin meeting all together. We will follow the same schedule each month until then.
The first Wednesday night of the month is for K & 1st Grades.
The second Wednesday night of the month is for 2nd and 3rd Grades.
The third Wednesday night of the month will be for 4th and 5th Grades.
