The Womens Missionary Union, formed in 1967, was the first missions organization at Rosemont. Today, Women on Mission Sunshiners continue the mission work started by the first women members of Rosemont. 

Women on Mission is an organization through which women of all ages can grow in their relationship with Christ and in mission involvement. The objective is commitment to God's plan to reach our world with His offer of redemption.

Involvement with Women on Mission means that women will:

    - Pray for and give to missions

    - Do mission work

    - Learn about missions

    - Develop spiritually toward a missions lifestyle

    - Participate in the work of the church and the


Women on Mission Sunshiners meet the third Thursday of each month at 10:30a.m. usually at the church. Each woman receives a monthly copy of Missions Mosaic. 

Our meetings consist of:

    - Prayer time for missionaries with birthdays and the

       sick in the church

    - A business meeting: announcements, report on

       monthly mission projects, take an offering

    - A missions program

    - Lunch and fellowship
