Colossians 3:1-4

¹If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. ² Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.³ For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. ⁴ When Christ who is your^[a] life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

1. Regularly seek eternal things
2. Intentionally set our mind on eternal things
3. Boldly be secure in the eternal things

How can we change our perspective to seek the things of the Lord?

• Keep our eyes on the eternal
• Be reminded of the hope and joy we have on earth
• Be reminded of the glory that awaits us in eternity

How can we set our minds on the things above

• It starts with our time
• learn as much as we can about the Lord
• Live in community with other believers
• Serve someone else
• Just do it
