my Father's Garden

The preschool ministry at Rosemont is where seeds are planted for Christ in children from birth to four years old. Our ministries for preschoolers include:

Sunday Mornings

Infants thru two year olds receive tender-loving care from dedicated volunteers while they participate in age-appropriate activities in a nurturing environment. Three & four year old preschoolers take part in an exciting rotation schedule which includes Bible study, music at Flutter Station, recreation in The Back Lot, and crafts in the Bee Hive. They also receive a morning snack. All preschoolers are encouraged to stay in My Father's Garden from 9:30am-12:00pm on Sunday mornings while parents enjoy Sunday School and Worship. Preschoolers love Sunday School at Rosemont!

Wednesday Evenings

During our midweek ministry for Preschoolers, 2s, 3s and 4 year olds will be on a "Character Quest" as they learn about a different biblical character each week.  Preschoolers will rotate through stations including; Bible Story Time, crafts, games, snacks and much more.  Our times are from 6:00pm-7:30pm.  Babies & 1 year olds are loved on and welcomed for those parents who are participating in adult bible studies or serving in another ministry area.

Safety & Procedures

The safety and security of your child is always top priority when they are here at Rosemont. All teachers have been screened through local and national background checks. There are always at least two teachers in each classroom. We take very seriously the trust you place in us when leaving your child in our care. Below are steps we take to ensure their safety:

CHECK-IN & PICK-UP PROCEDURE

First-Time Visitors (for children birth-5th grade):

On your first visit to Rosemont, you will be asked to complete a Visitor's Registration Form for your family. Your child will be given a security name badge and you will be given a security card. Both the name badge and your card will include a corresponding number. Your card will be used for security purposes for retrieving your child. Please be sure to include any medical/guardianship information needed in order for us to best care for your child.

Parents of preschoolers are asked to please leave cell phone numbers with someone at the check-in desk. If needed during the ministry session, we will be able to text or call you.

Returning Visitors & Members (for children birth-5th grade):

Drop Off: After your initial visit, your child's information will be stored in our computer for future visits. You will now simply go to the check-in kiosk either in My Father's Garden or Our Town and follow the steps on the screen to print out name badges and security cards for your child(ren). You may print all of the the badges from one computer even if some are attending other ministry areas.

Pick-up: When coming to get your child, you will be asked to show your security badge for the teacher to match the number with your child's name badge. Our pick-up policy for children from birth-5th grade is that they must be picked up by individuals who are at least 16 years of age, and who have their matching security badge with them. This policy is just another step in maintaining your child's safety while on our campus. If your parent security badge becomes lost, please visit the check-in desk. Someone there will be able to assist you with retrieving your child.
