Only a close relationship with Christ can provide true nourishment in a world full of shallow lives and weak roots. That is why our Deeper Roots ministry is designed to help you grow in faith and understanding of God's Word by providing relevant, Bible-based classes taught by loving and experienced teachers. Our Deeper Roots classes are offered on Wednesday nights from 6:15-7:45pm during the Fall and Spring semesters.

Jan. 15 - May 6

  • Galatians

In this letter, Paul gives us one of the clearest explanations that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone because of Christ alone. While contrasting grace & law, faith & works, Paul defends the theological and practical implications of the gospel. He encourages us to walk by the Spirit, living holy lives that bear much fruit.

  • Disciplines of a Godly Man

No man will get anywhere in life without discipline - and growth in godliness is no exception. But, what does that mean and how do we do it. Join us each week as we learn, discuss, and encourage one another to grow in disciplines such as prayer, integrity, marriage, leadership, worship, purity, and more.

  • The Pursuit of God

This classic work by A.W. Tozer is a profound read for every Christian. It deals with the deep things of God and the riches of His grace. In it, Tozer urges us to replace low thoughts of God with lofty ones, to quiet our lives so we can know God’s presence, and reminds us that life apart from God is really no life at all.

  • The Armor of God

A devoted, devilish enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you: your heart, your mind, your family, etc. He fails miserably when he meets a woman dressed for the occasion. In this study we will discover an action plan for putting on armor of God and developing a personalized strategy to secure victory.

  • I Said This You Heard That

Your words have the power to shape your life and others too. If you’ve ever said the wrong thing (or said the right thing the wrong way) you know how quickly your mouth can make a big mess. But it doesn’t have to be that way. In this study, we will explore how your wiring affects what you say, how you listen, and how others hear you.

Mar. 11 - May. 6

  • Fervent

You have an enemy... and he’s dead set on destroying all you hold dear and keeping you from experiencing abundant life in Christ. His approach isn’t general or generic, not a one-size-fits-all. It’s specific. Personalized. Targeted. So this book is your chance to strike back with prayer, a weapon that really works, as we plan for battle.

Adult Groups

  • The Frye's Small Group

At Rosemont, life happens in our weekly small groups because you have an opportunity to really get to know, encourage, and be with a group of people for the purpose of growth, prayer, & community. If you can’t join one of our Sunday morning groups, then this Wednesday night option is perfect for you.

Leaders: Joe & Meagan Frye (Room 201)

  • DNA Groups

DNA is an acronym that reminds us of 3 key components of discipleship: Discover, Nurture, and Act. In these groups of 3-4 people - men with men, women with women - we will discover the truths of God’s Word, nurture the gospel in our hearts, and act on what the Spirit calls us to do.  Our goal is to foster discipleship relationships to help each person  grow to become more like Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit. Join us January 16 at 6:15pm for an orientation to learn more about these groups (all groups will not necessarily meet on Wednesday nights).
