Only a close relationship with Christ can provide true nourishment in a world full of shallow lives and weak roots. That is why our Deeper Roots ministry is designed to help you grow in faith and understanding of God's Word by providing relevant, Bible-based classes taught by loving and experienced teachers. Our Deeper Roots classes are offered on Wednesday nights from 6:15-7:45pm during the Fall and Spring semesters.

  • NONE LIKE HIM (Women's Study)

God is self-existent, self-sufficient, eternal, immutable, omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent, sovereign, infinite, and incomprehensible.

    We’re not.

    And that’s a good thing.

Our limitations are by design. We were never meant to be God. But at the root of every sin is our rebellious desire to possess attributes that belong to God alone. Calling us to embrace our limits as a means of glorifying God’s limitless power, Jen Wilkin invites us to celebrate the freedom that comes when we rest in letting God be God.

  • THE QUEST (Women’s Study), Jan. 16-Mar. 6

The crooked punctuation mark at the end of a sentence speaks of curiosity, interest, and perhaps doubt. A question is an invitation to vulnerability, to intimacy. The Bible does not shy away from such an invite. Over and over we see the people of God asking questions of their Creator. We also see the God of the universe asking questions of His creation.

The Quest is a challenge to accept the invitation. In this six-week excursion with Jesus, Beth Moore uses questions from Scripture to lead you into intimacy with the One who knows you best. Learn to dig into the Word, to respond to the questions of God, and to bring your questions before Him. Let the crooked punctuation mark be the map that points you into a closer relationship with the Father.

  • ENTRUSTED (Women’s Study), March 13-May 8

We were never meant to take this journey of faith alone or in secret. God has entrusted us with the great and mighty gift of the gospel, something too precious and life-giving to keep to ourselves.

In this 6-session Bible study, Beth will encourage you to guard what God has entrusted to you, further His kingdom by sharing Christ with others, and pour into future generations just as Paul once mentored Timothy. Because in this journey of joy and hardship, we need each other to stay the course and live a life of faithfulness.

Welcome to our study of Colossians, a book that stresses the supremacy and sufficiency of Jesus Christ as our source of the knowledge of God, our access into the presence of God, and our restoration into the image of God. Throughout this rich book, we will also discover the essential call of the believer to impact his world in a day when empty philosophies and deceptions are prevalent.

Jesus was a master storyteller, and the parables He told were ingeniously simple word pictures with profound spiritual lessons. Understanding the parables is a crucial matter for followers of Jesus. Jesus told parables so His people might comprehend His message about the kingdom of God clearly.

In Parables, master expositor and Bible commentator, John MacArthur helps us understand the essential lessons contained in the most famous and influential short stories the world has ever known and better understand the mysteries of God’s Kingdom.

DNA is an acronym that reminds us of 3 key components of discipleship: Discover, Nurture, and Act. In these groups of 3-4 people - men with men, women with women - we will discover the truths of God’s Word, nurture the gospel in our hearts, and act on what the Spirit calls us to do.  Our goal is to foster discipleship relationships to help each person  grow to become more like Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit. Join us January 16 at 6:15pm for an orientation to learn more about these groups (all groups will not necessarily meet on Wednesday nights).

Sometimes we forget that prayer and praying together is a privilege. So, come join us as we pray. Come celebrate and practice this privilege we have been granted as sons and daughters redeemed by the blood of Jesus.
